Klaye’s Story
Klaye’s family visited the Lodge in July 2025.

Klaye’s white blood cell count was recorded as low twice back in 22nd October 2024.
He had to undergo a bone marrow on the 23rd of October as was showing the typical viral symptoms of a sore throat and a headache.
They then found his spleen was enlarged and he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic lukeamia on October 25th.
He then had a central line fitted on Monday 28th October along side another bone marrow and a lumbar puncture. He started his chemotherapy on Wednesday 5th November and we had to stayat Birmingham children's hospital for 17 days.
Klaye has had 5 blocks of chemotherapy and we have now started maintenance 💪He has tolerated every chemotherapy really really well. 💙
We’d like to thank everyone from Ben’s foundation for this much needed family break
