Pippa's Story

Pippa's family visited the Cotswolds in May 2025.

In February 2023 Pippa was suddenly paralysed in a matter of hours by a Spinal Cord tumour.

Pippa spent six months at Bristol childrens hospital having three major surgeries and hours and hours of rehab to try to regain function.

Pippa has been left with a permanent disability but can now proudly take some steps! Every year she has to spend time at the National Spinal Centre helping her learn to live with her disability and monitor it's effects.

In April 2024 Pippa started a long 18 month course of chemotherapy to continue the battle against her tumour. Now eight, Pippa balances trying to live normal life while also undergoing chemotherapy on a regular basis,

It feels like we spend a lot of time in hospital!!It's been a huge couple of years for our family but Pippa and her sisters are so resilient and cope so well with all that is thrown at them.

We have three little girls all very excited about there weekend away thanks to Bens foundation.
