Jay's Story
Jay's family visited the Cotswolds in April 2025.

When Jay was just 2 1/2 years old On the 9th may he was diagnosed with acute lymphblastic leukaemia.
He was rushed straight to Bristol hospital where he spent around 3 weeks, he had to have bone marrow tests, lumbar punctures, tubes into his stomach and a port line fitted.
He also had to have loads of steroids along with his chemo which took him off his feet.,
Jay's is 3 years old now and up until now I've been to scared to take him anywhere where there are other people that could make him ill, so other than hospital visits he hasn't been anywhere. He has now started maintenance so I feel more comfortable taking him out occasionally.
Since we have been offered to have a few days away we have all been really excited to be able to feel normal for a few days, thank you to Ben and his foundation.
