Jake's Story

Our world was turned upside down when Jake was given a diagnosis of Ewing’s sarcoma in July 2019 , aged 23 years .
We just thought he had a gym injury, possibly a slipped disc.
He had one round of chemotherapy at The Christie , Manchester then tragically developed Pneumonia, he passed away on the 10th September. 2019 , a few weeks from it all starting . I won’t go into all the rollercoaster details of it all , I can’t , it hurts so much, sorry.
It’s been such a shock , to me , his dad and sister Beth , also his partner Sarah. We miss him so much .

We are grateful to spend some time together thanks to Tom , his family and The Ben Saunders Foundation.
