Ralph's Story
Ralph's family visited the Cotswolds in October 2025.
Our son Ralph has had a tough three years, he was diagnosed with late stage liver cancer when he was just two years old.
He underwent several rounds of chemotherapy but unfortunately his cancer was still too far spread and so needed a multi organ transplant.
Because of the incredible decision of another family, Ralph received a multi organ transplant after 7 months waiting on the list.
He has faced many challenges since then including a 4 month recovery in hospital, relapse cancer and weekly stays at hospital to treat complications of his transplant , but too look at him you wouldn’t know. He loves life and deals with his daily medication and procedures with such bravery. Ralph loves cars, Disney and trips to the beach.
We are so greatful to the Ben Saunders Foundation for allowing us to stay in their holiday home. Trips away are a chance for Ralph to forget about his medical appointments and just enjoy time away with his family.
