Emily’s Story

In November 2020 I was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma of the pancreas. I was treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy and in January 2022 I had a pancreaticoduodenectomy to remove the cancer along with a complete splenectomy.

I fell pregnant naturally in November 2024 and through lots of scans and endoscopies I had my third child 3 weeks early in July this year.

Unfortunately in September my cancer has returned on my liver, with a poor prognosis I’ve been given a terminal diagnosis. Following this news my partner and children’s dad Jordan decided now would be the time to finally get married after so many years of telling ourselves “We’ll do it soon”.

Last weekend On the 21st of November we finally tied the knot with our family close by.

The Ben Saunders Foundation have been gracious enough to gift us a holiday at their gorgeous holiday homes in the Cotswolds which we’ve also used as our Honeymoon, with kids in tow!!
