Ben's Story
Ben's family visited the Lodge in September 2023.
Ben got diagnosed in April 2023 with a stage 4 brain tumour, he had 6 weeks of radiotherapy and we are waiting on a trial drug. However, due to where bens tumour is ( at the base of the brain) it will only extend his life slightly, we have been told 20% chance that he will survive 2 years , he was 13 in April this year
